Panerai replica 2024 second half novelty presentation
Panerai held a second half novelty presentation for major press at a location in Seoul on December 13. Led by Alban Fauchile, who has newly joined Panerai Korea, the event introduced Panerai’s new products for 2024, focusing on the Luminor collection.
As soon as you enter the venue, you see the Luminor Due and Quaranta, which are back with their new bracelets. The old bracelets had the same width from the lugs to the buckle. The new bracelets, on the other hand, have a tapered shape, which replica Panerai calls the ‘V-Shape’. The Due 42 mm and Quaranta have been reduced from 22 mm to 18 mm, while the Due 38 mm has been reduced from 20 mm to 16 mm. All the bracelets are equipped with Panerai’s exclusive interchangeable mechanism, the PAM click release system™, which allows them to be easily interchanged without any tools.
Next to it is the Luminor Dieci Giorni GMT. Dieci Giorni means 10 days in Italian. Equipped with the first automatic caliber developed by the Panerai Manufacture, the P.2003, it features a power reserve of 10 days as its name suggests. It also has a GMT, power reserve indicator, and zero reset (a function that resets the second hand to zero when the crown is pulled out) for maximum convenience.
We cannot forget the Luminor Quaranta, armed with Panerai’s new materials. The GMT version of the Luminor Quaranta, BiTempo, is made of Goldtech™, while the Three Hands Quaranta is made of Carbotech™. Goldtech™ is made of platinum and copper, making it slightly redder and harder than standard red gold. Carbotech™ is the lightest material among Panerai’s materials, five times lighter than steel and three times lighter than titanium, which is famous for its lightness.
Inside, the left-hand version of PAM00915, the Destro Otto Giorni, catches the eye of Paneristi. The Destro Otto Giorni is the successor to the left-handed Ref. 6152/1 from the 1960s. Its case, which embodies the design of the 1993 Ref. 5218-201/A worn by actor Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, and its caliber P. 5000, inspired by the vintage Panerai Angelus caliber SF240, are just a few of the elements that Paneristi will love.
Deeper into the venue, there is a space dedicated to Panerai’s Submersible collection of diver fake watches. Among them, the Submersible created in collaboration with the US Navy SEALs stands out. As a watch for all-weather special forces that operate at sea, in the air, and on land, it is available in a variety of materials, including the basic stainless steel, titanium, and Panerai’s own Carbotech™. Even the AOR1 patterned rubber strap attached to the watch is reminiscent of the Navy SEALs.
In addition to this, there were various patent registration certificates and sketches of Vitempo that proved Panerai’s technical prowess, and props that livened up the atmosphere of the exhibition hall. In one corner of the exhibition hall, there was a display case that displayed Panerai’s four collections: Luminor, Submersible, Luminor Due, and Radiomir, so you could see the main models.
